What to Expect During the First Phone Call
When a client first contacts our admissions team, one of our experts will walk you through the beginning of our admissions process. We will discuss your unique challenges with substance use and the potential for relapse. We will also ask you about your insurance benefits and determine what level of treatment you require. In addition, we will discuss a range of topics, including:
- Whether you have any underlying mental health conditions
- The need for travel plans for yourself and your loved ones
- Support in finding an intervention specialist if you need to host an intervention for a loved one with an addiction
- Details about our facility, programs, and the length of time you should expect to spend in treatment
- Verification for your insurance benefits
We want to ensure that every client gets the expert care that they need, and beginning the admissions process is one of the first steps in this process. To start the rehab admissions process at Chapters Recovery Center, please contact our team today.
When I’m Ready to Start Treatment, What Should I Bring?
When you’re ready to begin addiction treatment, you should bring a legal form of identification, such as a passport or driver’s license, as well as a credit card or another form of payment to cover any insurance copays. You should also bring your insurance cards and names and contact information for your friends, family, and healthcare professionals that you want to stay in contact with during treatment. Our clients can make phone calls and write letters to the people on this list.
Many of our clients also take a variety of prescribed medications. If this is the case for you, bring a list of the medicines you take and the doses you require. You should make sure that you bring enough of the medication to last you for a few days while you begin the recovery process. You may also need to bring items such as:
- Pajamas or other clothing you need to sleep in
- Clothes that are loose enough for you to work out in
- Casual and comfortable clothes that you can wear on a day-to-day basis
- Sturdy shoes that you can wear for both exercise and for everyday wear
- Personal toiletries that do not contain alcohol
We also may recommend that our clients bring a small amount of cash, giving them the freedom to make certain personal expenditures.
